On 15 February 1585, following a wedding, the d’Attimis-Maniago counts inherited and were handed over the company rising in Buttrio (province of Udine). Ever since, it has kept on making wine from the same land with unchanged passion, as d’Attimis-Maniago old archive papers document. Such as this note: ”Money received from wine sold on 21st June 1529.. for the cost of a little vase of wine from the Ronco di Buri of 8 ‘conzi’ and 1 ‘sac’ ”.The especially interesting corporate centre was already lived in, in 1300. In the last forty years, by aiming at the production of high quality wines, in-the-van technologies have been progressively adopted, while always abiding by Friuli’s winemaking tradition, to which the family has contributed in no small degree.
