THE ROSAZZO ABBEY
The thousand-year-old Rosazzo Abbey is situated in an isolated locality on Friuli’s oriental hills, north-east of Manzano, about 20 km. from Udine and 10, approx., from the border with Slovenia.
he church is dedicated to St. Peter the Apostle, the style is Romanesque and shows the signs of the restructuring work that has taken place over time. That is why we find architectural elements dating back to several different ages (of a medieval, fifteenth and nineteenth-century type).
